About Jubilee Christmas...

Jubilee Christmas is a program of the Daviess County Partnership and Connections. This unique program empowers parents so they can be the 'heroes' to their children on Christmas morning.

Families are referred to Connections by various community agencies, daycares, schools, neighbors, churches, etc. The office of Connections screens families for need, and then sends a letter of invitation. Each parent responds to Connections with an RSVP, and each family is assigned to a Jubilee Site church. Each site church may host anywhere from 10 to 50 families. Site churches may also have partner churches to assist them.

Site churches are responsible for coordinating the Jubilee Christmas event for the families assigned to their location. The congregations of the site and partner churches will purchase and donate new, age appropriate toys for the children of the families they are hosting. On the night of the Jubilee Christmas event, parents arrive at the site church to a warm, festive atmosphere to choose and wrap gifts for their children to open on Christmas morning. Families will also receive food certificates to help with groceries for their family Christmas meal.

Jubilee Christmas 2021

Central Christian will again be participating in this year's Jubilee Christmas Program - however, due to the ongoing public health concerns regarding COVID-19, organizers will hold the event over multiple days at a single location to allow for social distancing with smaller groups. Please see the details link below for more information. Central Christian will be partnering with our brothers & sisters at Beulah AME Church. Many volunteers and toys are needed to make Jubilee Christmas a joyful event...as you prepare your hearts for this season of giving, consider Deuteronomy 15:7-11.
