Special Announcement

Masks are now optional during worship services! Please continue to use good hand washing/sanitizing practices, and be respectful of others' wishes regarding handshakes or hugs.

What to expect when you join us for worship... you will also find this information in the printed bulletin, available each Sunday.

Our service typically starts with a musical prelude as people are being seated. The worship leader will welcome everyone and invite people to share any joys, prayer concerns, or announcements. Stand (if you are able) for the opening hymn - shown on the main screen, or you may use a hymnal if you prefer. After the hymn, you're invited to greet those around you - feel free to leave your pew to say hello to someone across the room! This is an informal and joyful time in our service!

The worship leader will lead the responsive call to worship. Immediately following the reading, the worship leader will pray a short invocation, and then the congregation will pray the Lord's Prayer in unison; and sing the Gloria Patri in unison (on the screen and printed in the bulletin). You may now be seated.

To prepare for the Pastor's morning prayer, we sing a prayer hymn or watch a special music hymn/video. Following this, the Pastor will invite us into a time of prayer.

After the morning prayer, the Pastor invites any children to come forward to the altar steps to hear a short children's message.

The Pastor then offers an invitation to Communion. All are invited to participate in Communion. During the communion hymn, the Elders & Deacons serving that day will stand and take their places at the communion table. One Elder offers a short Communion prayer, and then the Deacons serve Communion. Take and eat the bread as it is passed, but hold the cup of juice to drink in unison after the Pastor gives the words of Institution. Our Communion response (in unison) is from Galatians 2:20, and will be on the main screen and printed in the bulletin. One Elder offers a short prayer for the offering, then the Deacons collect the offering. At this time, children are welcome to attend a Sunday school lesson in the classroom across from the Sanctuary.

The Scripture for the day is read in part by the Pastor, with the congregation reading some verses aloud in unison. The Pastor gives the message for the day, followed by the hymn of Invitation, then the Benediction & Postlude.

Following the worship service, the adult Sunday school class meets.
