Worship Guidlines

Back to worship in the sanctuary!

We are planning to have worship in the sanctuary on Sunday May 31st

We are starting slowly and cautiously and following the guidelines.

We will just be glad to be back in the sanctuary!

If you think you should stay at home because of your risk factors then by all means stay at home.

Don’t put yourself more at risk. Services will continue to be offered online.

If you do come, the service will be different for a while.

                                         Worship Service Modifications:

Bring communion from home (there will be packaged communion if you forget)

No greeting, handshakes, or hugs

Wear facemask to protect others and maintain social distancing (at least six feet apart)

Continue good hygiene practices - washing hands thoroughly/using hand sanitizer

Don’t hang out in the narthex - go straight to a pew

Sit far apart from others - at least six feet (except for members from your own household)

No singing

No bulletin

We will have a collection plate at the back of the sanctuary

The service will be shorter

After the service exit the building maintaining social distance - don’t stay in the narthex

If you do want to visit with others, please do so outside - maintaining social distance.

Thank you for your help in trying to keep us all safe.

This is just the first step in trying to get back to “normal.” Hopefully all of the reopenings will be successful

and we will be able to relax these measures soon. Until then we need to all do our part.

Thank you all.
