Central Christian Church Mutual Ministry Campaign

Our Mutual Ministry Campaign is the first step in raising funds to support our Recovery Central Ministry. This new ministry will continue to provide support groups for people in recovery, help provide training and new leaders in the recovery efforts of our community, and provide information, support and direct assistance to families in recovery.

In order to achieve these goals, we will spend funds on improving our facilities and acquiring new equipment, embark on a serious advertising effort, and sponsor some significant training events for a variety of people.

Your contribution will indicate our congregation's support as well as generate matching funds for the ministry! We invite you to make a commitment to donate. With matching funds from the church and a Mutual Ministry Grant, your contribution to this vital ministry will go far!

Roots in the Ruins

Our Milk Bottle ministry has a new focus - Roots in the Ruins. Each Sunday the youth come forward to hear the youth message, and bring their offerings to place in the milk bottle. The money collected from this offering is now being used to help with a new mission in Mexico through Global Ministries. Our congregation and our youth fundraising efforts were recently featured on the Global Ministries website! Visit this link to read the story: Festival of Stories

This Week's Message

This week's message is from Ezekiel 37:1-6

The Story of the Milk Bottle

This is a brief history of how a simple, old-fashioned milk bottle became a way for the youngest members of our congregation to help others in far-away lands.

One Sunday early in 2005, the milk bottle was placed on a small table at the front of the sanctuary. It became the vessel to receive the coins of the children coming forward to listen to the children's message from Pastor Jim Payton. He explained that the offerings they brought would go to help buy milk for the children affected by the devastating tsunami that happened in Indonesia on December 26, 2004.
